The Cooperation of Evangelical Theologians for the Integral Development of Humanity (COTEDIH) is a community development organization founded in 1987 under the name Integral Development of Humanity (DIH) by the late mechanical engineer Elisma JEAN, who worked at the Dessalines Central Factory. Today, the organization is led by his son, Mr. Louighins JEAN, Executive Director.
Since its establishment, COTEDIH has been committed to improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations through sustainable community development initiatives and emergency humanitarian interventions. Its work covers several strategic sectors, including education, evangelization, food security, health, agriculture, child protection, and environmental preservation.
With decades of experience, COTEDIH has distinguished itself in the design and implementation of high-impact social programs. The organization has successfully carried out projects in education, school feeding, food security, and the distribution of agricultural inputs and certified seeds to vulnerable farmers.
Through partnerships with local, national, and international organizations, COTEDIH has contributed to strengthening community resilience across several departments of Haiti. Its achievements include the construction of homes for homeless families, the establishment and reconstruction of evangelical churches, support to agricultural producers, and the implementation of assistance mechanisms that have sustainably improved the livelihoods of vulnerable households.
Driven by the values of solidarity, transparency, and service, COTEDIH remains committed to supporting Haitian communities in their pursuit of development, dignity, and self-reliance.
If you wish to support Haitian communities during these challenging times, COTEDIH is a trusted partner you can rely on. With a strong presence in the field, the organization can host visiting partners, showcase projects made possible through their contributions, and facilitate direct interaction with the beneficiaries of their support, allowing donors to witness firsthand the positive impact of their investments.
Together, we can build stronger, more resilient communities and create lasting opportunities for vulnerable families throughout Haiti.
